This man is my favorite Cajun. See his
comment on
Ashley Morris' blog. It is hard to pick a
best of so here is a paragraph:
Hell, many Americans would be happy to see us go. Many of our fellow citizens in "sister" states think we are abhorant and a financial drain. Let them believe that nonsense. Then we can stop subsidizing greater American prosperity with our high cancer rates, greater exposer to tropical weather, and, of course, always being on the wrong end of colonialist exploitation.
Ooooh-mmm. Just the
right kind of chills.

Wasn't he wonderful? I just read his comment over at Ashley's (thanks for the pointer). He is spot on. It was really nice to meet you this weekend. I wish we had talked a bit more. Next time.
GB, yes, Landry is correct. Friends,or ex-friends of mine have poo-pooed the 'seperate' idea. However, I believe that it would be the best way to go. Check out my post Louisiana, Levees and Liberty from April. The loss of a State would be a great Bush legacy. How do we make this happen? Please post any more infomation on how to support this idea.
There are many people who are 'nay sayers'. Why should we not rise up and rebel now? I believe that this shows a lack of faith in the people of this State.
BTW, keep up the good work. Yours is one of my favorite blogs.
The CP.
